Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced(ACSR) It is an overhead transmission wire composed of twisted aluminum wires on the outer layer of a steel core, and belongs to the category of power transmission materials. The steel core provides mechanical strength support, while the aluminum layer is responsible for conductivity, utilizing the lightweight and high conductivity of aluminum combined with the tensile properties of steel to achieve efficiency optimization. This wire reduces the impact of low conductivity of the steel core on transmission efficiency through skin effect, and is suitable for large-span complex terrain installation. It has the advantages of simple structure, low installation cost, and large transmission capacity.

Technical Characteristics
ACSR is a composite concentric-lay-stranded conductor. Galvanized steel strand or strands form the central core of the conductor,around which is stranded one or more layers of EC Grade Aluminum wires. The steel core may consist of a single strand or a concentricstranded cable of 7, 19, 37, or more wires. Numerous combinations of aluminum and steel strands and layers are possible.
